refutor (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use refutor, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By using refutor you agree to the practices described here.
We use your data to:
Debate content you submit is processed by a third-party AI provider. We do not share your name, email, or account details with AI providers. Content is transmitted securely and is not used to train third-party models under our agreements. We never display AI provider names in the refutor interface.
In Mediator sessions, each participant's submission is kept private from the other party until refutor delivers its verdict. We store both submissions temporarily to generate the shared verdict and retain them as part of your session history. The second participant does not need an account; their submission is linked to the session code only.
We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings. Anonymised, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
